Peanut Butter Custard Pie

Spoon the peanut butter into a pie crust! Yeah! And because were tired from eating peanut sandwich, then we also tried this Peanut Butter Custard Pie.

Before the sunset goes down and make it into night, I discover some yummy and great pie that verybody will surely enjoy, and good thing because they love peanut butter, so I decided to tried this Peanut Butter Custard Pie. At first, it was not successful, but in the second trial, I can say that I now learn from my mistakes about baking this Peanut Butter Custard Pie, and made it even like a pro.

And now, I want you guys to try it too. Hope you will enjoy it and bake it for just 1 try, unlike mine. Good luck!

Peanut Butter Custard Pie Recipe (2)

Ingredients:

  • 1 (10-inch) deep dish pie crust (baked and cooled)
  • 1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp. of butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 3 large pieces of egg yolks
  • 1/3 cup of cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp. of salt
  • 3 cups of milk

Procedure:

  1. While the crust is cooling let’s make for our filling.
  2. Mix the egg yolks together with the milk, sugar, cornstarch and salt in a saucepan.
  3. And then, add the margarine and cook it over a medium low heat while stirring it frequently until the mixture boils and forms thickens for about 15 minutes.
  4. Let it boil for a minute and then remove it from heat and then stir in peanut butter and also the vanilla extract.
  5. When it’s done, pour out the filling into the cooled pie crust.
  6. Cover it and refrigerate the pie until it is set for about four hours or much better overnight.
  7. After an overnight rest from the fridge, cover the pie surface with meringue and also with 8 oz. of thawed whipped topping.

Meringue

  • 3 large egg whites
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar

Meringue Procedure:

  1. Beat the egg whites until becomes stiff.
  2. And then gradually add the sugar and cream of tartar and then beat them until becomes glossy.
  3. Spread it on the pie surface sealing to our crust.
  4. And then, place it in a 375 degrees F oven and toast until golden brown.
  5. When it’s done, cool it into room temperature.

Oozy Orange Cupcakes

Eat this and you end up your day super fantastic, yep! I tried it already when my bake it in new year and I was so in love with this cupcake, I ate it while watching the fireworks up in the sky and it was so fun, I love the taste of it because it make me feel so energize. Why? Maybe, because the sweetness of this yummy cupcake pleases my endorphins to be more active and make my whole body so alive. And for you guys who want to try it too, sure! Because this recipe is so free for you, the procedures are so easy and I think all of the ingredients can be seen wherever you are. so, don’t ever miss this! Enjoy!

Oozy Orange Cupcakes Recipe (1)

Ingredients:

For the Filling

• 8 oz. of cream cheese, softened

• 1 piece of egg

• 1/3 cup of granulated sugar

• Red and Yellow food coloring

• 6 oz. of semisweet chocolate chips

For the Cupcakes

• 3 cups of flour

• 2 cups of granulated sugar

• 1/2 cup of cocoa

• 2 tsp. of baking soda

• 1/2 tsp. of salt

• 2 cups of water

• 1/2 cup of plus 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

• 2 tbsp. of cider vinegar

• 2 tsp. of vanilla extract

Procedure:

1. Prepare a preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2. And line the cupcake baking pans with paper cupcake liners.

3. Combine the cream cheese, egg and sugar together in a small mixing bowl with your electric mixer. And then, blend in 2 drops of yellow food coloring and also 1 drop of red food coloring, adding more or less coloring if necessary to reach desired shade.

4. And then, use your mixing spoon to stir in chocolate chips and then set the filling aside.

5. Combine the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt in large mixing bowl and then set it aside.

6. In another small mixing bowl, combine the water with vegetable oil, vinegar and vanilla extract. And then mix it all well.

7. And after that, add all the contents of small mixing bowl into the large mixing bowl and stir it all with your mixing spoon to combine.

8. With your mixing spoon or a soup spoon, fill the cupcake liners half full with the cupcake batter, and then place 1 tsp. of filling at center of each cupcake.

9. As the cupcake bakes, the batter will rise to surround the filling.

10. It can bake for approximately 25 minutes or until cupcakes test done.

11. And if you want, you can frost it with an orange icing or just let the orange filling ooze out as a surprise.

As they said, a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. So, what are you waiting for? Take this 1st recipe into you love journey for today, and that’s the Chocolate Roulade. Good luck and go for the gold!

Chocolate Roulade Recipe (1)

Ingredients:

  • 5 pieces of large eggs (separated)
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/3 cup of flour
  • 1/4 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp of baking powder
  • 1/2 cup of apricot preserves
  • 1 cup of Heavy cream (chilled)
  • 3 tbsp of confectioners’ sugar

Procedure:

  1. Prepare preheat the oven to 375F.
  2. And then, line a jellyroll pan with a waxed paper with aluminum foil, or you can also use a parchment paper.
  3. Butter it and then flour it, then shake out the excess.
  4. Beat together the egg yolks and sugar in a medium bowl.
  5. And in another small bowl, sift together the flour together with the cocoa, and baking powder.
  6. After that, gradually stir them into the egg yolk mixture.
  7. In another large bowl, beat the egg whites until they form stiff peaks form and then stir a spoonful of whites into the batter, then quickly fold in the remaining whites.
  8. Spread the batter into the prepared pan and then smooth it out into the corners.
  9. And bake it in the preheated oven until the top is golden just for about 15 minutes.
  10. When you take the sponge cake out, loosen the edges. Let it cool 5 minutes and then spread a tea towel over the cake, invert and remove the pan, and then peel off the paper.
  11. And while the cake is still warm, turn it so a long edge is before you, and roll up the cake in the towel while keeping the long edges uncurled. This can be done a day ahead.
  12. And then, keep the cake covered to stay moist and let it cool completely.
  13. Just a few hours before serving, unroll the cake and then trim the long edges with a serrated knife, and spread the apricot preserves over the sponge.
  14. Whip the cream until turns into firm peaks form and sweeten it to taste with confectioners’ sugar, and then spread the cream over the preserves, not quite to the edges.
  15. Next, is rolling up the cake again and set it seam side down on a serving plate and with a serrated knife, trim the two ends.
  16. And then, chill well in the refrigerator before serving.

Chocolate Roulade Recipe (2)

Eggnog Custard Pie

Holidays? Will I wait for that day to have the Eggnog Custard Pie? Well, sorry but I’m craving for this and the Eggnog Custard Pie is so easy to bake so will bake it now. Mom, just stay there and I’ll take care of this, I will prepare this one, not just for me but for you. And after this, we will talk about so many things, I love you mom so sit back and relax.

And that was my last message for my mom before she left us to work in abroad, it’s too hard to live without a mother, without somebody who could tell all your secrets and understands you whenever you’re moody. I wish I could be a good chief someday, that I could bring her back in our home. But this time, I will push myself to work and study harder so that my entire wish for myself and for her will come true, and today, I want to share this recipe for you, the Eggnog Custard Pie. This one is the best pie that mom so love. And now I want you to share and try it too. I want to see why mom love’s this so.

Eggnog Custard Pie Recipe (3)

Ingredients:

For the Filling

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 cups eggnog (not canned)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Topping

  • 1/2 to 1 cup whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons brandy or rum (or use extracts)
  • Nutmeg

Procedure:

  1. Prepare the pie crust according to package directions for a filled 1-crust pie while using a 9-inch pie pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Beat the eggs and then, add the remaining filling ingredients in a large bowl. Blend them well.
  3. And then after mixing, pour it into pie crust-lined pan. Cover with foil.
  4. And then take it to the oven to bake for about 25 minutes.
  5. Remove the foil and then bake it for an additional of 30 to 40 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean or you can also use a wooden stick to insert it in your pie.
  6. Cover the edge of crust with strips of foil during the last 10 to 15 minutes of baking if necessary to prevent excessive browning.
  7. And then, allow it to cool completely.
  8. Beat the whipping cream in another small bowl until it turns soft peaks form.
  9. And then, add the confectioners’ sugar and the brandy and beat until stiff peaks form.
  10. After that, garnish it with nutmeg and then store it in refrigerator for about an hour or overnight if you want.
